COMMUNITY  SUPPORT

The ETHNICS COMMUNITIES COUNCIL of LOGAN Inc (ECCL), a local Not-For-Profit NGO organization have a weekly street market every Sunday. This market has been established for over six years in the same area and helps local migrants and refugees to integrate into, and become part of the local community where they can have their own stall to sell arts and crafts, fruits & vegies, clothing and foods from their own countries . A wide range of FRESH fruit and vegetables, most of it grown on their own farms, is available to purchase. Also available in the HOT FOOD section, is freshly cooked foods from several different countries.

Volunteers at BUSHTUNE INTERNATIONAL work with local community support services, and assist by having our own food stall, selling drinks and Aussie food. We also assist ECCL with managing the markets and look after the HOT FOOD section.
